Top 8 finishes for Blade Club fencers in London

The Leon Paul PRC Junior event for Men's and Women's Epee was held over the weekend of November 21st and 2nd.  Fencers Justin and Kiria participated and did very well, both missing the podium finish with narrow 15-14 losses. One the first day, Justin roared to a strong poule performance, winning all bouts except one that he lost 5-4.  He comfortably got past the rounds of 64 and 32 with 15-8

Malaysia Open 2015

On 14 August 2015, our Melanie Huang got her first taste of a podium finish in an overseas competition. In the women's foil individual competition, she fought and won against national team members of Malaysia and Indonesia in both the poule and direct elimination rounds. Foil Fencing Camp 2015

Foil Fencing Camp will be held at Tai Seng on September 3-10, 2015. Joining the camp are special guests Italian coach, Giulio Tomassini and 1st European Games Foil Champion, Alessio Foconi. World Fencing Championships 2015 in Moscow, Russia

The 2015 World Fencing Championships was held in the beautiful city of Moscow, Russia, from 13 to 19 July 2015. Our Samson Lee did a personal and national best when he triumped against all opponents in his poule. He beat fencers from UAE, Egypt, USA, Columbia and Denmark with scores of 5-3, 5-4, 5-2, 5-1 and 5-4 respectively. He was then seeded in the 26th position and progressed directly into the Tableau

SEA Games 2015 – Results

Men's Epee Individual Event On 3 June 2015, our guys started off the 28th SEA Games Fencing Competition with a bang at the OCBC Arena. Lim Wei Wen won the Silver medal, whilst Samson Lee took the Bronze in the Men's Epee Individual Event. Samson had a strong start to the day with 4 (out of 5) victories from his poule, whilst Wei Wen secured 3 (out of 5) victories. Both fencers cruised
