Blade Club is an accredited entity under the Singapore Sports Council’s Sports Elective Program (SEP). We currently run the largest number of Fencing programs under the SEP have the most number of SEP-certified coaches. Our coaches are all First Aid and NCAP qualified, and are current or ex-National team coaches and players.

Blade Club is focused on developing Fencing at the very highest levels through our High Performance programs, as well as spreading the sport to encourage more people to learn about and appreciate the sport. Our retail classes are open to all for children as young as 4 (perfectly fun and safe, because we use our in-house developed foam swords), and adults as young as 60 and up (we have a thriving veterans’ community). We have even worked with the disabled and handicapped in the past, helping them to actively enjoy the physical challenge of the sport in what was a very rewarding experience.

We regularly organize training camps and competitions in Singapore and overseas. In one of our previous camps held in Singapore, we invited top level athletes and coaches from Germany and England, including top ranked fencers (ranked 7th and 16th in the world, an ex-European Champion). Our camp participants included top national athletes from Thailand, Australia, and Singapore. We have also helped to organize and run numerous overseas training camps for our students in countries like Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Australia.

The competitions we have been involved in running include the RJC Invitational, Ngee Ann Polytechnic Fencing Invitational, Pasir Ris Crest Fencing Competition, Blade Club Young Novices, and other Blade Club Fencing competitions. We also managed the Fencing Singapore International 2004, which had over 200 participants including those from Korea, Russia and SEA countries.
